Nuovi Progetti is a company operating in the construction and railway sectors, specializing in the construction and maintenance of SOA civil works and RFI railway construction. Our main activities include:
civil and railway works, railway superstructure work, installation of electric traction systems, restoration and conservative rehabilitation of historic buildings, design, construction, and maintenance of large infrastructure (roads, highways, bridges, and viaducts).

A story that started as a new project a long time ago
Nuovi Progetti was officially launched in 2011 from the lease of a business branch of a company that had trading in the construction and railway sector since 1981.
Despite being a relatively young company, over the course of our short existence we have become a benchmark in the construction and railway infrastructure field: thanks to our professionalism, high level of technical expertise and our organisational skills, Nuovi Progetti has continued to expand its areas of expertise in public and private construction to include the world of railways.
In just a few years, the amount of RFI-certified railway work that we do has increased so much that it has become the company’s leading area of operations.
Qualifications and certifications
In accordance with current legislation on public works (Law No. 109 of 11 February 1994 and subsequent amendments), Nuovi Progetti has obtained SOA qualification certification for the following categories of general and special works:
- OG1. Civil and industrial buildings (Class IV)
- OG2. Restoration and maintenance of protected real estate (Class III)
- OG3. Roads, highways, bridges and viaducts, railways, subways, funiculars (Class IV Bis)
- OS27. Electric traction systems (Class V)
- OS29. Railway superstructure (Class V)
- Qualification for design and construction services up to Classification III
Nuovi Progetti is equipped with specialized personnel, machinery, and railway equipment that have allowed it to obtain registration in the following RFI qualification systems for works in 2015:
- Work on electric traction and energy systems. LTE-002 Class I – Work on contact lines for traction.
- Interventions on electric traction and energy systems. LTE-004 Class III – Construction of anchoring structures for contact line supports.
- Civil works on operating lines. LOC-001 Class II – Civil works on the railway track.
- Interventions on the railway superstructure. LAR 001 Class I – Maintenance work on the railway superstructure.
Always committed to improving the effectiveness of its corporate organization and ensuring high-quality work and services for its clients, Nuovi Progetti has adopted a UNI EN ISO 9001:2015-certified quality system.
Since 2014, an Environmental Management System compliant with ISO 14001:2004 has been implemented to coordinate environmental issues and opportunities more efficiently and systematically. In 2018, the system was updated to ISO 14001:2015 certification.
The company recently obtained certification according to the UNI ISO 45001:2018 standard, ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety regulations, and the UNI ISO 50001:2018 energy management system, as a management strategy for energy efficiency.
Our company operates in accordance with the principles of legality, transparency, and responsibility. For this reason, we adopt and comply with the Organization, Management, and Control Model pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001, a tool aimed at preventing the crimes envisaged by the law and promoting a corporate culture based on ethics and compliance.
The adoption of Model 231 represents our concrete commitment to responsible management, stakeholder protection, and the continuous improvement of business processes.
